The goal of counselling is to hold a safe space for another to explore their concerns. As a counsellor I aim to empower you to clarify issues and explore possible solutions. Through active listening and using several modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Somatic and Mindfulness based interventions , I support you to find solutions and peace.
The therapeutic modalities used are evidence based treatments, which means research has shown them to be effective in helping people with a range of difficulties.
